2nd Station - The Burden Of The Truth

Jesus is bent, grimacing as three soldiers manhandle the cross onto His shoulder - one arm is wrapping around the cross whilst the other hand steadies it.

Master, teach us how to help. The world stands by and watches, while brother beats brother to death. Why don't we have the courage to do something for our neighbour, instead of just regretting the reality of it?
Yet Your enduring love is always there, so that, even if we do not help, your children can always turn to You in their agonies, sure that You will never forsake them.
