14th Station - The Mother Buries Her Son
Scene: Inside tomb, looking towards entrance hole. A body, wrapped in a shroud, is laid out on a slab. Mary is standing at the top of the slab and is bending over, kissing the brow through the cloths - she now has the full crown of twelve stars.
The old Pharisee Joseph stands by the entrance with John, beckoning her to leave.

Rest now, sweet child of God. They can do You no more harm, all Your future laid in the hands of the Father.
All men will die, while many are left behind to grieve. But in that grief there should be hope for the future.
He said: "I am the Life."
What secret does He hold for us who still trust Him, who still believe that He is the Messiah.
Yes, Mother, it really is the end of Him as you knew Him. You must go out into the world and carry on living; besides, are there not others who now need your love and affection?
What did He mean: "In a short time you will no longer see me and then a short time later you will see me again"?
